Gup students may compete with one of two forms/keibon, the required form/keibon for their next promotion or the one underneath it. If your curriculum varies from the textbook due to being in a Chung-Do Kids program or for any other reason please let the officials know.
If there are less than three competitors, a division may be combined with another with final approval from tournament director.
No metal or glass of any kind allowed on any protective equipment (includes eye glasses and safety/sports goggles, and face shields.)
Foam dipped Head, Foam dipped *Hand, Foam dipped *Foot, mouthpiece, and chest guards are mandatory for the safety of the competitors. Competitors are also permitted to wear other protective pads such as forearm and shin guards provided they meet the requirements of having no metal or glass and are approved by the USCDKA and Center Referee as having no reasonable potential for causing injury to either of the competitors.
*Black Belt competitors ONLY have the option of substituting the USCDKA required gear described above with padded shin/instep and approved padded hand gear. Sparring shoes will not be allowed.
Competitors without the proper gear will be given 1 min to obtain the proper gear or WILL NOT be allowed to spar.
Form #1 cannot contain gymnastic moves. These are entry forms for the beginner level of Chung-Do Xtreme.
Anyone who is disqualified from an event for disrespect will have all points removed for that event and not be allowed to enter any other competition for that tournament.
